United for Sustainability

Bikalpis promotes sustainable development with a focus on freedom, justice, diversity, and non-violence. Unlike traditional political parties, which are often led by a single powerful figure and exploit divisions, Bikalpis unites activists from various social movements to address environmental, social, and economic issues in India. They encourage global thinking and local action.

Our Guiding principles

Guided by principles of liberty, education, health, freedom, equality, justice, democracy, federalism, co-determination, and the environment, our movement strives for fair access to education and healthcare, equitable distribution of resources, impartial justice, and sustainable environmental practices. We advocate for citizen empowerment and community involvement in decision-making processes.

Success Story

OPGC's inactive unit will become operational, targeting 400 MW of electricity. Yesterday, the distribution company in Odisha requested 4786 MW but faced a 550 MW shortage in domestic power generation. Currently, 500 MW is sourced from IPP Vedanta, and Jindal will soon increase supply from 65 MW to 100 MW. Power cuts are due to artificial shortages, not actual demand issues.

On behalf of TPCODL, a bill revision camp was held on Thursday at the Binda Electricity Department Office in Kishorenagar Block.
